The 4th Annual Lake Minnewaska Fall Walleye Classic will be held Sept. 15-16, 2007, in Glenwood, MN, with the first place payout of $6,000 GUARANTEED! Entry fee is $350. Tournament field limited to 75 teams. Free hog roast for all team members following Day 1 weigh-ins. Fish with a buddy, or team up with your wife or son. In addition to the open class, their are 3 divisions within the tournament, including: 1) Father/Son or Daughter Division; 2) Husband/Wife or Boyfriend/Girlfriend Division; 3) Senior Division (both anglers age 55 or over. Teams are automatically placed in the divisions at no additional cost and fish only against other teams in their divisions for an added $450 in cash. ALL TEAMS fishing in the divisions are eligible to win the overall cash and prize payouts. Payouts are as follows: 1st place=$6,000 guaranteed; 2nd place=$3,000; 3rd place=$2,000; 4th place=$1,500; 5th place=$1,350; 6th place=$1,200; 7th place=$1,000; 8th place=$700; 9th place=$600; 10th place=$500; 11th through 15th place=$350; 16th through 23rd place=prize payouts consisting of new fishing related products (valued between $150-$250). Optional Big Fish Pot=$20—100% payback—$1,500 possible if all teams enter. Half the pot awarded to Day 1 biggest walleye with other half of pot awarded to Day 2 biggest walleye. 2 flights with teams released in 15 minute intervals. Reverse order on Day 2. High numbers of 18 to 23-inch walleyes and you’ll run into a fair number of 19 to 21-inch smallies as well prefishing and/or during the tournament.
