I should have more info later but this is what I have now:

Only 4 teams caught fish out of 196 teams. First place won 60,000 with a weight of 2.71 lbs. Thats right, under three lbs won. 2nd place had 2.70 lbs and won 27,000.

Nate said they passed a refrigerator floating down stream when heading to their spot at take off this morning. The river is a mess.
    Thanks, Bill

So with that above said I guess I can say Congrats on your 5th place finish Nate and Richard. And everyone else too. That sure makes it a tough week when this happens to the body of water you are fishing on.
    Thanks, Bill

Definitely a very very difficult tournament. Every day of prefishing- whatever you learned, was gone the next day. So it wasn’t even like you were there pre-fishing. Then today- the water rose even more, and turned to chocolate milk. It says alot when you have 180 some teams fishing, most with four rods to a boat, and only four fish caught all day…
A 2.71 sauger worth over 60,000…I think that is the richest fish in tournament history…

    Congrats to the winners…Iowa boys!!
