Freeze Your Butt tourney

    Just a heads up guys. The annual “kick off” for the 2007 tournament season is just over a month away. Yep, the Freeze Your Butt tourney is on March 3rd.
    I would encourage anyone who has not fished this event to come on down to Evert’s for the good time. It is great fun, and it is only $20.

    So, who’s fishing it. I’ll start it off by announcing that Stickboy and I will be there to challenge all takers.

    I’d love to fish that tourney, but I’m going to be in Orlando with the kids visiting the land of the mouse. So it will be swetting my #ss off.

    Already told the Mrs’ she can’t work that day, so I’m in for sure. Rain, sleet, snow or sunshine – I’ll be there.

    Though I didn’t freeze my butt last year, I did end up freezing my oil line and subsequently blew 3 pistons…..absolutey will be there again, this time in a row boat.

    Team Sullivan (Father & Son) will be present. Last year I let my Dad take a nap in the WI channel. This year, I’m going to limit his nap to 10 minutes, since it is a tournament.

    More details to follow Jesse.In a nutshell,a 2 person team or you can fish by yourself if desired.Just a bunch of fun and a way to kick off the season!There are always many stories to be told!

    I know Nate and Richard Young are fishing it. I’m still too frozen from fishing the one a couple years ago in the middle of a snow storm with Nate.

    look for that nice tracker (bass boat) with the wanna be walleye fisherman in the front fishing with actual walleye tackle, that will be me trying my darndest to whop up on you and stick, although i know it will take a miracle for me to even catch an elusive eye, let alone a limit of 5. oh well, sounds like a fun time, i got it on the calendar.

    I already posted on the other thread but I’d love to donate some $$ to the pot… don’t know if I’ll be getting my boat out of storage yet – if anyone has an open seat and wouldn’t mind having a new-bee join them, send a PM to me. I may have a partner already worked out but there’s a chance they can’t make it.
