Overall,the bite was on the downside today for most folks,however some very impressive fish were brought in today.Congrats to all!

And finally a new Turkey Combo Award this year to Rickyfishes for the 1st ever, ” I Locked Myself In The Outhouse” Award! Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Well the 2006 Turkey Combo is over and what a blast it was the weather was great and even cuaght a few fish.
I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Dean at Everets Resort for allowing us to us the resort for the tourney this year and for all the help and the hot dogs afterwards.
Thanks a ton Dean you are a good Friend and one heck of a resort manager.
Also a big thank you to Jon Jordan and In-Depth for allowing us to use the Baskets and Scale again this year.
And a Huge Congrats to everyone who caught fish today, was alot slower than past days but someone always figures them out.
Well it sure was fun and I hope to see everyone again next year this Tournament is always held the Saturday after Thanksgiving

and now to fill everyone in on the New Turkey Combo
(I Locked myself in the outhouse Award)
well here is how it went:
a bunch of us were sitting around talking about fishing and eating hot dogs when Richard tells me he is going to go warm up the truck. Well sometime passes by and we are all still sitting around talking and still No Richard, hey not a big deal he’s probably putting stuff away in the boat I thought.
Then my phone rings its Richard I answere and he tells me “hey I think I locked myself in the outhouse come get me out”. So of course I have to say outloud “What you locked yourself in the outhouse” well at that time everyone around was laughing, and now walking over to the outhouse to let poor Richard out. Dean Grabbed his camera and kerry Harvey and Myself had to push the door open to let Little Richie out of the outhouse, as everyone else was taking pitures.
OOOH Richard Buddy its going to be awhile before you live this one down.
(“hurry help I am locked in the outhouse” Still bust out laughing every time I think about it )

And what an AWARD to shoot for next year guys. Whose going to claim it next year? Ricky, you sure how to claim an award thats going to be VERY hard to win next year. [could resist Bud]

And I understand that a big Thank You goes to Dean for providing the hotdogs for you guys out of his own money, not the tournament money. Just goes to show what a swell guy Dean really is. And I also understand Jon Jordan drove the scales down to Everts so you guys would have them for weighing your fish. Thanks Jon. Another great guy.

Congrats everyone who fished this tourney. Nate called me on his way home and told me the results, about all the fun everyone had AND of course about Richards AWARD.
