The jig bite continued for my boat this past weekend in two seperate tourneys. The first was a tourney out of Lakeside bar which my partner Dan Sadiewater caught the biggest fish of the tourney 3.5 sauger. On Sunday, Anglers Edge out of Loves Park Illinois held their last walleye tournament for the season which I fished alone and managed 4 saugers for 8.58 lbs 2nd place. Duckman and Dave won with a limit of fish for over 10 lbs. Saturday was one by Tom and his partner(sorry) with a limit for 13 plus pounds. It has seemed the trolling bite is just not there. Blade baits and jigs with miiows or crawlers were preferred. Thanks, Dan Palmer
