    Saugerama!

Everts Resort will be hosting a Sauger Tourney Saturday October 21.This is an informal and fun outing for everyone! Entry fees will be $50 per team and no charge boat ramp fee for those fishing the tourney. Start time will be 7:30 am and weigh in at 3 pm. There will be a 8 fish bag limit per 2-person team, saugers only! (14 inch minimum size sauger to the scale please.) Two big fish pots for the biggest Sauger and for the biggest Walleye. (The walleye however cannot be used for your bag weight.)

We are planning to pay down three places along with the big fish pots.

Every team that weighs-in, but does not cash will go into a drawing for a new St Croix rod!!

I would appreciate a pm or call if you intend to participate. Hope to see you all there!

This should be a fun tourny. Like Dean said very informal. Just bring a friend, family or neighbor and join in. A $50 entry fee means only $25 each. If there is enough people that participate it should have a good pay back. One other thing is since it is saugers only and you can weigh 8 fish I look for it to be very close and anybody has a shot to win.
    Hope to see everybody there.

Sounds like a great time Dean! That should be PRIME TIME sauger fishing…..and not too bad for walleye fishing that time of year either ! Wish I could be there. I believe i’ll be at a wedding that day…..no, i’m pretty sure i’ll be at a wedding that day. Sounds like a great chance for a St. Croix rod and a close weight tournament!

That is South Dakota Pheasant Opener and we are already committed to going otherwise Team Redneck would be jumping on this. Seems like that time of year the big Saugers are starting to show up so this should be a blast. October is just one busy month. Good luck to everyone and see you very soon Dean.

Unfortunately, Walleye Rog and I will not be able to make the Saugerama. Hopefully it will be an annual event. Thanks Mike
