Sure did!! Just got back yesterday afternoon…..need some rest after the long week

here are the top 5 places:

    Roger and Eric Beuring 26.45lbs

    Dan and Gary Dickmeyer 25.20lbs

Ben Fruland and John Strong 21.65lbs

Craig Dornfield and Brian Dunaiski 20.45lbs

Randy Timm and Tom Viehauser 20.14

Big fish went to the Dickmeyer boy’s…….10.99lbs!!! They had two big fish on day one.

It was a well run tourney by the staff of the MTT. The conditions were not! wind, dirty water, rain, and more wind!!! I can’t wait to see some of the video that Midwest Outdoors took while on the water. That lake was wild….My partner Mike Gangl and I were in 13th place on day one with six slots at 8.93lbs. Day two we had motor trouble, our fish didn’t go and we dropped to 23rd. We weighed only one fish on day two with a total weight of 9.90lbs.

We needed 6 fish on day two and we would have been right up there…..oh well, thats fishing!!!

    Great job Bob!

If I may ask, what were the predominate presentations?

I would say most pulled cranks, some caught fish on jig’s in the river, while others pulled spinners and live bait! Kind of a mixed bag of tricks!!!

We caught fish pulling cranks pre-fishing, but our numbers came on jig’s in the gap. I caught some fish on B-fish-N tackle H20 jig’s!! with a lake shinner!!

Nice Job Bob. Make sure you get ahold of me before you head up there next year. I used to guide up there and I know what the winners were doing. They fished next to me one year at the Championship. At a minimum I can get you your “overs”
