I just wanted to comment about the age restriction. I love tourney fishing. I have fished the Pooh Bear for 4-5 years now. I’m 16 now. I am the main driver in our boat(1675 Lund Explorer) and I can probably drive it better than my dad can. I feel completely safe in a boat in almost all weather, I think the key to being safe is a saying that my dad taught me “If you respect the water and what it can do, then it will respect you.” I know I’m not invincable out there, but if you take your time you can always make it to safety. I just want to make the point that if the child has been taught proper boating techniques then its not all that insane.
