I wasn’t home when they stopped by, and don’t know if I’ll be here tommorow when they come again. The slip says they need a signature. Is it just a certified letter that is the invite, or is there other stuff in there?

All thats in there is the details for the tourney and a form you need to fill out/sign and send back in asap if you are attending.

Trition, the top 35 boaters and co anglers from MN, WI, MI got invited to fish this tourney. For more info you can go to http://walleyeleague.flwoutdoors.com/

    Here is some more info.

Three FLW Walleye League divisions – Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin – each feature three one-day events and one two-day Super Tournament during the regular season. Every angler who receives weight credit earns points, with 100 points awarded to the winner, 99 for second, 98 for third, and so on, except for Super Tournaments, which award 150 points to the winner, 149 for second, 148 for third, and so on. These points determine angler standings.

The top 35 boaters and 35 co-anglers from each FLW Walleye League division advance to the $141,950 Wal-Mart FLW Walleye League Finals, set for Sept. 7-9 on Lake Michigan in Escanaba, Mich. Anglers finishing in the top 10 in each division also receive priority entry into the Wal-Mart FLW Walleye Tour for 2007.

I can’t get my invite because the UPS man will only come one weekdays between 10:00 and 1:00. This package requires a signature, and they will not drop it off with a neighbor. I have to work on weekdays, and signed the back of the slip today but to no avail. I guess I’ll just have to wait for the UPS man to give up and leave it at the UPS station.

Oh yeah, that’s like 30 miles away from my work. I’ll have to take a long lunch, and work late to make up the time just to get the thing during business hours. Seriously, don’t you think they could just accept my signature on the back of the post-it they left?

You could call the local UPS place and ask them to drop it off at your work place.
    Thanks, Bill
