Wow! Talk about some dandy fish! Nineteen teams competed in the WWA tournament at Green Bay and found the big fish. It was an extremely tight finish from top to bottom, as every team brought in a limit. First place with a 4 fish limit was Pat Schuette and Dave Diermann with a whopping 35.19 pounds. This included the big fish award with a walleye tipping the scales at 10.42 pounds. Rick Jorandby and Jesse Quale took second place with 35.16 pounds. This second place finish earned Rick and Jesse the Wisconsin Team of the Year title. Placing third was Paul Bruss and Lynn Niklasch with 34.99 pounds. The team of Jim and Heather Whiteside finished in 7th place with 31.76 pounds, earning them the Wisconsin Husband and Wife Team of the Year title. The majority of fish were caught pulling spinners with crawlers around Chambers Island and the Door County Reef. Congratulations everybody!
