If you like competitive fishing; meeting new friends; learning about different bodies of water and fishing presentations and techniques at an affordable cost with a good prize payback (80% of entry fees) and a chance at Divisional and National Championship bragging rights, the World Walleye Association is for you. They have Division Circuits in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Dakota. It is run by “fisherman for fisherman.” Sure, it doesn’t have all the “bells, whistles, trailers, stages, computers, electronic leader boards, etc.” like some of the circuits, but it is just as professional in operation. I enjoy fishing the circuit. For the $225 entry fee per event, it can’t be beat for the avid angler. Check out the next WWA event in your area and I encourage you to participate. Hope to see you on the water and your name at the top of the leader board.
