R e g i o n a l S e r i e s

In 2006, the PWT will offer two separate Pro-Am tournament series. Each will consist of four events with

limited fields. Amateurs and Co-Anglers may apply for one or as many PWT tournaments as they desire.

They may fish some Super Pro and some Regional tournaments. Or, amateurs/co-anglers may apply to fish

all four Super Pro and/or all four Regionals. The amateur/co-angler fees are $450 per Regional tournament

and $750 per Super Pro tournament.

The Super Pro series presented by MinnKota

will consist of the top 50 PWT pro anglers based

on performance. They were rated on four distinct

criteria: total money earned, number of top

10 finishes, average place finish and number of

Championships fished. The Super Pro field has

been set via invitations.

The Regional tour, a series of four tournaments,

will be an invitational circuit, like the PWT has

been for many years. Pro anglers applying for

the Regional events will be accepted based on

performace. Other fishing activity will also be

considered. Pros may apply for one, two, three

or all four of the Regionals. Pros will earn points

and move into the Super Pro ranks. The top five

2006 Regional pro anglers will be invited to fish

the Super Pro series in 2007. Pros will also qualify

for Championship slots.

Here are the planned dates for the 2006 IDA Walleye Tour. (Permits applied for – waiting for approval.)

These are 4 – one day events. Fish one or fish them all. Teams will accumulate points for “Team of the Year” Title and Plaques. We will not have add on money for year end prizes this year. Look for updated rules and entry forms on the IDA Walleye Tour Webpage soon.

Entry fees will be $100 for each one-day event.

WISCONSIN DIVISION

Lake Pentenwell, Sunday April 23rd. Registration Saturday at Adams City Park from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, plus Registration with rules meeting to follow on Sunday morning beginning at 5:30 am at Adams City Park off county highway Z. Tournament hours from 7:00 to 3:00 pm.

Big Eau Pleine res (Mosinee) on May 14th. Specifics posted shortly.

Winnebago Chain (Oshkosh) on Saturday June 3rd. Registration on Friday June 2nd from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and Registration with rules meeting to follow on Sunday June 3rd beginning at 5:30 am, both at Menominee Park in Oshkosh. TOURNAMENT hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is an OPEN Event.

Winnebago Chain (Oshkosh), Sunday June 4th. Registration Saturday June 3rd from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at Menominee Park in Oshkosh, and Rules Meeting on Sunday at 6:00 am at same place. TOURNAMENT hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
