Winona places to stay

    What are some good places to stay at in Winona. State parks, hotel/motel, resorts. Just looking for a varity of options.

    I am camping at a place called Parrie island campground as of last week they still had openings.I thought it was nice as you could pull boat up on beach and they has there own boat launch.Also they were REASONABLE more money for gas

    I plan to stay at the Merrick WI State Park.

    Merrick State Park

    Koonce. Where are some places close to winona to pick up B fish N tackle. Any place in Winona?

    I think I will stay with you guys for the comradarie. I called today they still have quite a few sites left, but if you need juice, I would call. It’s $14 for non-juice and $18 for juice.

    I’m getting pumped!

    They told him that next week they might have a answer for him.I think he will make it.I am going off of what I had heard from some of the guy’s at Bemidji saying they had other commitments.We plan on pre-fishing next Saturday till the tourney.

    Looks like I’ll be staying at Merrick State Park in Fountain City. You all are welcome to stop by any evening for a cold one and some good BS.

    Fountian city motel has some nice rooms. Stayed there last week. It is right across the road from the new landing in fountian city. The only thing between the motel and the landing is a bar and restraunt. Very nice place.

    Spent a night at the sterling hotel also. It was cheap and a place to stay. Just not much else there.

    These where the only 2 places I checked out while down there.

    As far as bait shops go there are 2 in winona. One on 5th street and one just north of the main bridge in winona.

    Looked plenty of camping places around winona also.

    Made my reservation yesterday for Parrie island campground, see everyone there!
