Don’t have a list ,not sure they ever actually publish one except on the board at the tourney and maybe the top 10 in the Mille Lacs Digest.Erickson and Perlberg I beleive were first with 35 something pounds followed by 27 for second.Dunn and Meyers were third ,don’t remember the weight but we were 4th with 26 so it was between 26-27.

We fished it too, and it took 20+ lbs. to be in the money, we weighed 17.48 lbs. and thought we did well, but once you put one of those 14 1/2 inch fish in the well your stuck with it and they don’t add up very fast!
Congrats on 4th place, nice job!

By the way who’s the tuffy with the IDA sticker on the motor, NPAA# 161, nice ride!!!

Saw it in the harbor when we launched and it caught my attention!

Thanks. We had a banner day on Sat, and were actually leading going into Sunday .We had 7 slots and a 28 1/4 by 1:00 on Sat. and went in early.I wanted to go spend the rest of the time looking to see if my other spots were still holding fish but we had one a little over 19 3/4 in the well and I was afraid it would die and grow on us so I decided to head in.Sunday we bombed and only weighed in 4 fish .I shoulda went to one of my other areas but we’d catch one every once in awhile and eventually burned up too much of the day.Live and learn I guess.Personally I was really suprized at the number of fish coming into the scales.Seems like most of the Mille Lacs tourney I go to have quite a portion of the guys coming up with zeros.

I know what your saying, we welled a 19.99 inch fish hoping it wouldn’t stretch and it shrunk a 1/8 inch, go figure.

Thanks for the white yar craft info, there were only 5-6 of those in the tourney! LOL Luoma, Decamp, Petersen……………

Okay, fair enough. I’ll keep an eye out for the swoosh, that should be easy enough to see.
You fishing any other tourneys this summer?

That’s Bob Johnston. He fishes tourneys on the river here with Don Hanson. (Not sure if Don was his partner last weekend.)

Actually I just mentioned the white Yarcraft because we were parked at the end of the harbor on Sun morning along with a few other boats and thought maybe you were one of the guys we had talked to.
We fished an MTT earlier and we may fish the 2 day MTT in August depending on how other things go.

Now that you mention it, we did talk to you. The scramble trying to get turned around and out the entrance before it became a real cluster #### in there. I think you even gave us a push off while we were all shaking our heads trying to manuver around in the waves.
We were really thinking about how we were going to drop the fish off at that dock if the wind got worse, my aluminum boat don’t quite handle the waves like those nice glass boats some of you guy’s got.

Now I know who to look out for! LOL

Ya, we thought since we were fairly early and there was a spot we’d sit in the harbor and relax a bit.We ended up being kind of stuck in there for awhile until the flow of boats got thru. That place is a little tight when there’s no wind but it was a real bugger on Sunday.I always worry about getting a big wind and trying to drop fish off at the dock there since its pretty shallow.Water must be up some this year though.

Probably no need to look out for us,we generally are a middle of the pack type team with more bad days then good days!!!!

Every day on the water is a GREAT day of ”fishing.” Sometimes the ”catching” just isn’t as good. I try to cheerish the days on the water because there just aren’t enough of them no matter how many days I fish per year.
    Thanks, Bill
