We are currently at 40 boats for the August 13th tournament on Pool 4. We expect near a full field of 100 boats again this year so make sure you get your entries in to ensure a spot. If you are in need of entry forms or additional information, feel free to contact me at [email protected]

I will also be sending out within the next week flyers for the Mississippi Gold Team Tournament being held on Pool 3 & 4 on September 17th & 18th out of Lake City, MN. This is a great tournament and we can all look forward to that great fall bite.

Again, feel free to contact me with any questions.

We are currently at 49 boats for the Aug. 13th tournament. We usually have 25 – 30 boats sign up the night of the orientation meeting, so if you know you are fishing for sure, I would recommend sending in your entries soon to ensure a spot. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Respectfully,

As of Monday, Aug. 1st, we are at 60 boats for the August 13th tournament. It looks like we will have between 90 & 100 boats this year so do not wait till the orientation meeting to sign up. Let me know if you ahve any questions.

    Jimmy,

For those of us who just mail in the entry form and fee without making a copy. Would you state the time and corresponding locations for the rules meeting and launch site?

    Thanks………Richard

Here is the info for the rules meeting. The rules meeting will take place at the American Legion of Lake City, 7:00 PM Friday, August 12th. The address is 224 S Washington St. If you are heading south through Lake City on Hwy. 61., take a left at the 2nd Stop Light (by Conoco). Go one block and take a left and it is right on the corner. Just look for the “Yellow Dodge” truck (so my wife always knows where I am), and you are at the right spot.

Also remember that the American Legion will be grilling burgers and brats for a small fee for the rules meeting.

Feel free to ask any additional questions.

Oops! Forgot to let you know about boat launches and checking in Saturday morning. We will be doing boat inspections starting at 5:30 AM Saturday morning. We will NOT be checking boats in the marina. Beginning at 5:30 AM, teams will pull their boat into the Fiesta Foods parking lot, which is right across from Conoco on Hwy 61. After we check your boat, you will be able to launch your boat wherever you want. Our staging area prior to flight-out will be outside the marina entrances. We will have a flight-out boat giving directions in the staging area. I will have maps explaining in detail locations for inspections, staging areas at the orientation meeting.

Absolutely I have a list. We are currently at 65 boats, and still expecting 90+. If anyone wants to know what your boat number is prior to the orientation meeting, just email me by Thursday at Noon. If you sent in your entry, I received it unless anyone wrote down the wrong address. Looks like another great turnout and we appreciate everyone’s participation.

If for some reason any of the participants are unable to make the orientation meeting. Please remember we will be doing the Saturday AM boat inspections in the Fiesta Foods parking lot (across the street from Conoco and the weigh-in site at McCahill Play Park). Boat inspection will begin at 5:00 AM Saturday morning and we want all boats inspected, launched and staged in the staging area by 6:30 AM.

I received a call from Dan Bennet from Red Wing, but the number you gave won’t let me through. If you see this message, please give me a call again. Thanks!

Jim, do you have official results or something you could post or send me? I am just curious to see what place we got because there was no board when we got back. I know were not getting a check but we got close and just interested in seeing the full results. Thanks.

Sorry this took so long to get posted. I will try to get the total results for the 84 boat field sometime this weekend, but in the meantime, here are the top 10.

    10th Place Tim Harms & Chad Kruse, 9.95lbs $200
