    It was a tough bite up there. After pre fishing it seemed like alot of people where still scratching there heads. Lots of days pre fishing where just one or 2 fish where being caught. That might even be stretching it. Saturday showed up and people started catching fish. I was just amazed to see the numbers of bags with 5 fish.

    Tourney day for us was fun even if alotr of fish was not caught. Our points fish was in the boat by 7:15. A little while after that we decided to go for broke and fish nothing but big fish. Part of this decision was based on the prefishing and not thinking there was much else going on. I did recieve a very good lesson trolling for suspended walleye in the main lake. Lead core, plainer boards, lures. JUst learning about this tecnic of fish was much more than any prize I could of won in the event.
