    Any ideas how/what where the tournament was won? I don’t look for spots as much as techniques/patterns.

    Hey FJ, That I don’t know. I was down prefishing for the Sunday Walleye Searchers tournament and my son fished the FLW Tourney and his starter battery went dead so after getting permission from FLW by radio his co-angler hopped into another tournament boat with their fish and Nate tried to get across the Bay City flats with the kicker motor but couldn’t as the big motor couldn’t be raised up to clear in the shallow water. So he hopped in my boat and drove to see part of the weigh in and I drove his boat over to the ramp at Colvil Park in Red Wing using his kicker motor. So I never did get over to Bay City. I have heard that the winning team won trolling cranks down by Wabasha but don’t know if thats correct or not.

    the winners were casting shad raps somewhere in the back channel.
