Just read a pm from Nate and he told me that Reefrunner [Greg Vandemark] and ProV [Randy Stevens] won the MTT Tournament Saturday with 30 lbs for 4 fish. Congrats Guys!!! 
Hopefully Nate along with Greg and Randy and anyone else can fill us in on both of the two seperate tournaments on Saturday and Sunday.

Below are the results from the weekend. My partner and I took 5th yesterday and 13th today. Yesterday we were lucky enough to have our six fish in the box by 10:15 so we were done weighing in before 11:00. We also lost big fish by .01 pounds to Randy Stevens. He pulled in a nice 9.13 pound fish to sneak past our 9.12 pounder. I have attached a pic of our three biggest fish from yesterday.

The weather was just like Minnesota.
I would like to thank 4-Seasons sports for the great Rods and Reels we won at the last MTT.
Would also like to thank Hooked on Fishing for the live bait.
Also a thank you to The Main Channel Bait and tackle for the willow cats.
The only photos I have to show you are some practice fish we caught.
I did not take my camera and Randy is much more photogenic than myself. The MTT guys took picture’s and I’m sure they will post this week some time.
Anyways on Saturday we bait rigged all our fish.
We fished all day for five bites and landed four fish.
Thats tournament fishing.

Is it legal to use willow cats this year? I haven’t heard much about this issue since last summer.

Man it was windy and cold with some snow thrown in just for fun. I’m glad it is over and looking forward to some warm 50 degree weather.

Fishing in the cold and wet makes you believe 50s are warm weather. I threw the gortex parka in the truck just so I have it for inland opener on Mille Lacs.
