Quick question about the FLW league. I am fishing the event on pool 4 on May 7th. In the mean time I booked a guided trip on pool 4 for next wensday. After reading threw the rules for the event it states in there about not being able to purchase info and so on after the entry date for the event. I take it this means that I can not go on my guided trip next week and also particapate in the event. Am I right on this guys?

Mike is fishing as a co-angler, isn’t there also a rule that the co-angler can not share info with the boater? If this is the case what would it matter if he hired a guide?

I was also trying to figure out when the cut off date was to allow a person to do something like this. If it is the entry date from what I can figure that was over 2 months ago. Seems like alot of time.
Just to clear this up My intent in hireing a guide on pool 4 was just to get out fishing. It was not to try to get a leg up on the tourney. I am with out a tow vehicle this spring and this is one of my options to get out fishing.

Thanks for everyones help with this. I sent one of the contacts at FLW a email today to see what they say. Hope they get back to me soon.

He can share his own info with his boater. He cant share his boater’s info with another boater.

Okay. I am good to go on my trip. If it is still available. After the entry dead line is the period you can not purchace info or hire services. This is the 29th for this event. Guess it states this in the brochure which I never looked at. Just looked at the rules on the web site.

Thanks for the help guys. Now I need to check if my trip is still open.

Thanks Bill. What I couldnt figure out was when the entry/balance date was. Still dont see it anywhere. Couldnt believe it was 3 months ago when you could get signed up for the tourney. I was told today by FLW it is april 29th but still dont see it anywhere on there web site. Sounds like maybe it is in the brochure.

Good news is I get to fish this week.

Below is a link to where it is on their site. BUT the brochure plainly shows the Priority Entry is April 22nd and the ENTRY DEADLINE is April 29th.
    Thanks, Bill
