Pre-Tournament Overview.
I want to thank everyone who has decided to participate. I hope your pole stays bent and your net stays wet!
When you arrive at Evert’s Resort, there are just a couple things to take care of before putting your boat in the water.
First, if you are not pre-registered, see me to get registered and pay your entry fee. (Look for a red Chevy 2500 with a black topper.) Once you have turned in your application, you will be assigned a boat number. Next, you will need to have your boat inspected. Please have your deck hatches and livewell doors open for a quick inspection. Once inspected, you will receive your “Boat Board” The boat board will have your boat number on it. If you arrive by boat, see me for a quick boat inspection and pick up your boat board. There is a Public Access at the highway 63 bridge. (I don’t think the access at Bay Point Park will be open by the 12th.)
Please stage your boats downstream from the big dock. As the 7am take off time approaches, try to line up in boat number order down from the big dock. I will start sending boats out at 7am.
When you come to the scales for the 3pm weigh in, please remember to bring your boat board with you. This will help to pull your weigh slip and record your weights correctly. It is your responsibility to make sure the weight written on your weigh slip is correct. Once you sign the weigh slip, that weight is official and final.

Thanks for the post Jon. It answers the questions people always have going through their minds when thinking about fishing a tournament. Guys and gals, this is a great way to have fun fishing with your buddy, son/daughter, wife/husband, or girlfriend/boyfriend. Lots of fun and you can fish as many or all that you want. Give it a try-you will have fun.
Thanks, Bill
