Teams from Indiana, Michigan and Illinois converged on the City of Henry for
the Illinois Walleye Trail tournament on November 14, 2004. The field of 62
teams found water levels dropping with the surface temps being around 46
degrees. Clarity above the Hennipen Bridge was good with stain to murky waters
below. Max Actis from Spring Valley and Mike Stuckert from Spring Valley using
Jigs and Minnows brought the winning weight to the scale with six fish totaling
16.1 pounds earning them a paycheck of $2,170.00. Second place went to Jim
Peterson from Lansing, Illinois and Rob Peterson, from Dyer, Indiana with a six
fish limit of 15.83 pounds earning them $1,060.00. Placing third from Elgin,
Illinois was the team of Joe Miller and Rick Taylor with 15.56 pounds and a
check for $570.00. Big Fish honors and $620.00 with a nice 4.17 pound Sauger
went to Mike Hickey, Mokena, Illinois and Mark Lesiak, Frankfort, Illinois. The
62 teams caught 212 fish scaling 434 pounds averaging 2 pounds each with 27
teams scaling a limit of fish. We would like to Thank Hennipen Marine for
