Last night me and a friend did some shore fishing here in eastern south dakota. it was a great night with us catching two walleyes over 7 lbs. My pickup was parked a quarter mile away from us, and wouldn’t you know it some guy stopped by and helped himself to the rest of my tackle. I had three rod and reel combos in the back and now have nothing. I just can’t beleive it. Who could do this. My st. croix legend elite is gone along with two other nice rods with great reels. I only have one good rod and reel combo left. I called the sheriff and they said it happens all the time in this area. I can’t believe it.

I lived in Brookings for a semester. Or should I say I lived at the Saf for a semester….Thursday night twofers on long islands.

I fished a lot of water north of you when I lived in Wtn. Again, welcome to the site, I think you’ll enjoy it here. I sure enjoy hearing fishing info from back home.

I would watch the area, those stupid enough to steal will eventually forget and start to use the stolen equip. Hope you had markings that were identifiable.

An ex girl of mine used to bar tend there. We stopped in there one night for a cold one, that lead to a bunch with the owner. Good times in that town.

So, enough about the drinking. How’s the fishing out there??

Fishing started out slow this fall but has been pretty good as of late. Had a lot of trouble getting into better fish this fall compared to last, but hopefully last night was a change in that with two nice fish. I hope to go out again tonight if i am not to tired, guess we will see.

Is that the bridge out by Oldham (sp?) I spent a lot of time around there from the fall of ’90 through the spring of ’95. My dad wouldn’t let me bring the boat so I bought waders instead and probably learned more about walleye fishing…

The falls were tough, phesant hunt, duck hunt, walleye fishing or goose hunting – all world class in my book.

Sorry about your loss as the majority of the folks out there are great, but as we all know it only takes one.

    Any big fish this fall?
