Mississippi River Walleye Tour – October 9th 2004

    The fourth and final IDA Walleye tournament for 2004 will be held on October 9th at Evert’s Resort on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River.

    Boundaries will be all of Pool 4 of the Mississippi river. (From the lock and dam at Red Wing, Minnesota to the lock and dam at Alma Wisconsin.)

    The tournaments are 2-person team format with a $100 per team entry. (Tournaments are one-day events with a 100 boat limit.)

    I have a cabin booked for Saturday night the 9th at Everets…3 beds open…Let Steve Vick know at Everets Resort if you are intrested in crashing there and splitting the cost….

    Doesn’t matter if your fishing the tourney or not…there are 3 beds left open…

    Hi Tony, I replied to your e-mail. Here is some more info.

    There is no formal meeting. Show up early enough to get checked in and boat launched. You may arrive by water if you prefer. Evert’s launch fee is $7. If you have any questions, please feel free to call.

    IDA Walleye Tour

    October 9th, 2004

    Please read carefully!

    Take Off – 7:00am

    Weight In – 3:00pm

    5 Fish Limit. Minimum Size is 15 inches.

    Boundaries: All of Pool 4. Dam to Dam, Track to Track.

    No Cull. You may posses 7 fish in your boat.

    This is a “Live Release” event. Dead Fish Penalty will be enforced.

    Big Fish Pot. $10 per team “Cash Only” paid at check in time. 100 % pay back.

    You will receive a boat number board after your boat is checked in the morning. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BOAT BOARD FOR TAKE OFF!

    Stage for take off in boat number order just off the main dock. Boats will take off in an orderly, safe manner. Reckless boat driving will result in disqualification.

    Weigh in scales will open at Noon. You may weigh in early.

    Please bring your boat number board to the scales with your basket at weigh in. We will provide the fish baskets. If you do not weigh fish, please return the boat board to a tourney official.
