2014 Officer Schneider Memorial Scholarship Entrys

Entry’s are available for the 3rd Annual Officer Schneider Memorial Scholarship Tournament on Pool 4 on July 12, 2014. Participants have raised over $10,000 in scholarships over the last 2 years!! If you have in the past, or are thinking of fishing this tournament for the first time – please get those entry’s in. It is a great time and for a great cause! If you would like to make a donation for the raffles and games during the supper after the tournament, please let me know. We appreciate all the support we have got over the last couple years! Let’s hit that 100 boat mark this year!!

Entry’s are starting to come in pretty steady now. I will be sending out confirmation packets towards the end of June. Come join us for a great tournament for a great cause! Lots of great raffle prizes again this year and we will again be having a great Walleye dinner for all participants compliments of the Lake City Sportsman’s Club and the Frontenac Sportsman’s Club. We are just over a week away. With the water coming down things are looking to set up for a great bite and a great event. Lots of fun and the banquet / meal afterwards will be better than ever. We will allow boats to sign up the morning of the tournament. We will be checking boats in at the Lake City Fiesta Foods Grocery Store across Hwy. 61 from the Lake City Marina. We agree there are fish to be caught!

We will have boat spots available to sign up on Saturday morning. Please be at the Fiesta Foods parking lot by 6 AM this Saturday to get registered. Great time and the fish are cooperating very well! Don’t miss out on this great fundraiser tournament and the walleye dinner afterwards!

First off – THANK YOU to all the participants that made this event extremely successful. Over $5,000 was raised for local scholarships and we will be handing them out the spring of 2015. We could not make this happen without you, the participants!! The fishing was unbelievable and the anglers had one heck of a walleye dinner afterwards. We will be coming out with the 2015 date soon – and if you have not fished this tournament in the past – seriously think about it next year! I will list many of the individuals / company’s that made donations and then end this post with the results.
