    I have gotten the call that I didnt want to hear… My FYB partner backed out and now I am looking for a last minute partner with boat.

    So here’s my deal partner is down sick, I have a boat or can use your boat its gonna be cold as crap,old frozen white dog poop but I love to fish and would like to be able to fish this tourney. I have a vehicle but its two wheel drive and don’t really want to be that guy. Let. Me know who else wants to freeze

    Listen, don’t worry about being “that guy”.

    Last week Steve got a call at the bait shop from a guy at the dam wanting to know if he had any gas line bulbs. He sold his last one the week prior.

    What’s he do? Goes to town, picks up a few, grabs some tools and lauched his boat. The guys with fuel line troubles never stopped fishing until Steve arrived and replace their bulb.

    Cost? Parts only. He said “that’s why you pay the launch fee at Everts” and took a sip of his Mountain Dew.

    Sunday. Two guys and a gal came in. Jonie was worried about going on the water in the winter. We handed her a Everts business card and said “If you get into trouble, call us. That’s what you paid the launch fee for”.

    Few hours later. Phone rang. Guess who sheared a pin on the prop?

    Steve had them towed down in no time.

    Dude…you’re covered.

    X2, we can both get stuck together, side by side completely blocking the roads and really PO everybody off. Something worth doing is something worth doing right.
