Since my last post didnt get me any closer to an answer I thought I would try again.

Please reply to this post if you do or dont have any interest in signing up for the side pot tourney for a NTC spot. If you have any questions about it please feel free to post.
Time is getting short to get it registered and wanted to take one last survey and see if this is something people wanted to do or not.

    Thanks for your time!!

    Saugerama, Yes

    FYB, I’m on the fence

I’d be more interested in signing up for the TWF side pot for the Saugerama versus the FYB, as the location and dates for the 2015 NTC location will at least be announced by that particular event.

For me, I have a tough time paying for a side pot to earn an entry into a tournament when I don’t know when or where it will be held.

Good info guys, thats what I need to know. Please spread the word to others that may be interested and report back.

I will gladly go through the work of it if I get enough interest in it for either.

I would expect FYB Side Pot for 2014 to be…

Club allocation numbers and invitations for qualified teams for 2014 NTC were sent out weeks ago. Registration ends March 7th for all qualified teams, which means this would be for a 2015 NTC spot unless the TWF makes a change as to how they’ve allocated spots in years past.

Any tournament that is hosted in 2014 will be for the 2015 NTC. It will always be for the following year.

Yeah, unfortunately I have the same reasons as Justin. Travel time is limited for me with kids at home etc…. If next years tournament is someplace 12 hours away, it probably won’t work for me. I wish I was fishing it this year though, should be fantastic.

I liked the idea of just keeping these events “Fun!” Whenever you up the stakes people have a tendency to take the “Fun” out of the day and do dumb things.

I will fish them both either way, but I like the low key atmoshere.

I like the idea of it being available but that doesn’t mean I would sign up every time. It would be nice to know where the tournament is before signing up as others have stated. In my case, if the boy is looking at another deployment I may not sign up at this time but sure like the option in the future. Thanks for checking this out Eric

Has the FYB ever been rescheduled due to extreme cold? Just want to know for work purposes. I will be there no matter what

As much as I want to fish in 30 or 40 degree or warmer weather and as much as I want there to be tons of people and everybody having a great time it would just go against the name. Doesn’t mean we wont have fun though.

As long as your at the ramp and paid before take off you can wait til later to go out if you want.

Like I have said many times before, this is a very informal event. Just a bunch of guys getting together, fishing, having a good time, and having some lunch and beverages after.
