First off I want to thank everyone that braved the weather and the less than stellar bite and joined us for the day. I have to say I probably had just as much fun if not more Friday night and after the tourney, meeting new people and also catching up with a lot of old friends.
I also would like to thank all the people that helped out and those that donated prizes, it was very much appreciated.

Even though the fishing wasn’t the best by any means I hope everyone had a good time and I hope to see you all in March if not before.

A little confused here Eric, why would the team of Markel and Jensen not receive second place?

Andrew and I had a great time. We had some nice company out on the water with some friendly banter back and forth.

Doesn’t look like they caught enough saugers, Saugerama is a sauger tournament.

Thanks Eric & Dean for putting this tourney on, and to all the sponsors that donated. We had a great time as always, and look forward to next year.

Congrats to all who topped the leader board and cashed in on a tough bite.

Thanks to you Eric and Dean for hosting a fun tourney. It sure was a fun weekend all the way around

Here’s the only pic I took of the 7 pounder we got in hopes for big fish seeing as the sauger wanted nothing to do with everything we threw at them.

She inhaled my 1/4oz purple blade bait .

NICE fish Jesse. I threw blades all day in hopes for one of those big girls. I spent a total of 14 hrs fishing between Friday and the Tourney and didnt’ boat a sauger! I wish it would have been a dogfish tourney because I hammered those. I will be back next year to hopefully redeem myself. Congrats to those that scrounged up a weighable bag.

    Thanks again Dean and Eric.

Great to see everyone again! This falls migration was certainly lagging time frame wise, but still lots of fish to the boat, a the year class of 12 inch fish appears to be pretty strong.

Great to see everyone again! We had a blast and like most couldn’t find any saugers worth while.

Dean and Eric – I was able to capture a pretty cool picture of your boat before the start:

Even though my boat sucked, we still had a good time. We made the decision that we would rather gamble and lose than play it safe and lose, so we went searching for out of the way fish. Turned out, they weren’t there. Still had a great time, fished near some good people, met a few new people and saw a lot of old friends. Thanks for running a nice tournament. I can’t go anywhere but up next year.

Eric, This was the 3rd year the FW and I were able to help doing the weigh in,heck it even gave us a chance to rub elbows with the infamous Brett King.

We were glad to help again

BTW.. it is always nice to see some old faces and meet some new from IDO.

Great tournament as usual Eric The food this year was beyond amazing and really hit the spot after a day in the boat. This is without a doubt my favorite tournament of the year and I am already looking forward to next year!!

There was the main tourny pot that was for biggest 8 saugers, and 2 side pots for biggest sauger and biggest walleye. All they weighed was a big walleye so that was the only pot that they were in.
