Please respond here if if you plan on joining us for the contest this year. This will give us a idea on how many people to plan for. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Things should run pretty much the same way as last year. Looks like we have some great prize sponsors on board again that include BfishN tackle, Anglers Guide HQ/SBC and Even Team Catfish.

In addition to paying back three places and big fish pot there will also be prizes for the following.

    Most walleyes/saugers caught.

    Smallest walleye/sauger caught.

    Largest catfish caught.

We will also be having a drawing for a free fishing pole donated by Anglers Guide HQ/SBC. Must be signed up in the contest to qualify for this drawing.

Dean has provided a gift certificate for the fishing pole. He wanted to do this so the winner could choose a pole that works for the way they fish. Sounds like a great idea.

I might be in if there is an open seat, someone is willing to bare the cross of the curse and I get the OK from the wife. She owes me. I hung the TV in the bedroom finally.

Just so you know, I’ll forecast my odds right now at 20%. I don’t want anyone counting on me being there. I am also checking with my bros to see if they are interested in some pool 2 hogs.

Looks like things are shaping up to be another good contest this year. Got about 15 boats confirmed for the tourney so far and there is always a few more that just show up the morning of the contest.

Our prize sponsors have been more than generous this year. Along with the usually paying back three places, big fish and a few other fish prizes we will have numerous prizes drawings after the contest. Our prize sponsors include.

    BfishN Tackle
    Skeeter Boat Center
    Team Catfish
    Matt’s Lucky Bait & Tackle
    A+ Sales
    Larson Jigs.
    Great lakes Custom Tackle.

Should be another great contest this year and with any luck the weather will hold off for us. Still plenty of room if anyone else wants to get in. Feel free to add your name to this post or just show up Saturday morning.

Mike, Ill keep you in mind if I hear of anyone looking for a partner. If anyone is looking for a partner post it up on here or send me a PM. Or send Mike a message.

Just picked up some additional prizes for the contest from Joes Sporting goods this morning.

    Thanks Joes.

Also for you guys that like to pitch plastics for walleyes in the fall Joes has a huge wall of BfishN tackle fully stocked. Maybe double or triple of what they used to carry.

If some of you are on the fence about fishing this tourney I would urge you to give it a try. This is very casual, lots of good food and good company after, chance to learn a little more about the Pool 2 bite, and the odds of winning at the very least a good prize are real good. See you there!
