Just got back. What a different body of water and big. Scott is defintely on a roll. We both were fishing the same spots. But as you know someone always gets the better bite. Good luck Scott.

You should have seen it 10 years ago Jarrad. I looked at the pics on Live Leader. When I fished that area, the ramp was probably 30 feet long. When the river comes back up, at least we won’t have to worry about running off the end of the ramp.

So, was it a trolling bite or spinner bite for you guys??

We had two bites going. We would lindy rig the morning up shallow on main points. As soon as we had some descent slot fish we headed out to the main lake and leadcored for our two 20″+ fish. Both days my fish came in backwards meaning that my smaller fish came first and slowly upgraded each for a total of 8 fish. A lot of decisions had to be made on the spot on which fish to keep.By 1 o clock I had to quite fishing. I could of threw them back but I was more worried about trying to maintain my status in the Angler of Year running. I just wanted to maintain the top 25 for Angler of the Year. I think I got my top 25.
