August Walleye Tournaments?

    Does anybody know of any walleye tournaments on Pool 4 in August? I dont get my license until Aug 19 and school starts on the first so I want to fish a couple in that small time frame. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks

    Tony,you can always fish as a co-angler at a tourney.Great way to get your feet wet in the tourney world.

    The 12th Annual Frontenac Sportsman’s Club Walleye & Sauger Classic will be held on August 14th out of Lake City. Great tournament and everyone always has fun. You can call me at 651-345-5035 and I can send you a flyer, or if you just want more information.

    Thanks for the replies. Ryan, are there any angler and co-angler tournies coming up this summer? The only reason for this is that I don’t fish enough (my dad isn’t a fishing fanatic like me) to know the river well enough to compete until I get my drivers license and can fish 5 days a week. Thanks

    Hey Tony, the tournaments on the river start thinning out after May as alot of them are in the spring. There are several yet to come though including the IDA Walleye Trail Tournament too. Plus there is the Walleye Searchers tournaments every month so there will be a couple a month that way.

    I posted the wrong date for the Frontenac Sportsman’s. The actual date is August 14th. Too many tourament dates to remember I guess!!
