IDA Pro Staffer Scott Steil is in a great postition to make the first cut. He is in 19th place with a day one 5 fish limit for 14.00 pounds! Go get-em Scott!

IDA Pro Staffer Jarrad “Fireflick” Fluekiger needs a good day tomorrow. He is in 61st place with a 5 fish limit for 11.31 pounds.

As you can see less than 3 pounds will set you way back in the field.

Pro Frank Christianson leads day one with a 5 fish limit for 17.13 pounds.

One big fish and anyone is right back in it.

My dad, Curt Rees III, is in 6th place on the Pro side of the tourney. Not bad for a 59-year-old rookie.

    Go Pops!

Two trips to Wal-Mart in a row for Nick Johnson, congratulations Nick, hard to do and very impressive. Good luck on day 3, and hopefully on day 4.
