Full Throttle Fishing is heading to Mille Lacs Lake MN for some outstanding walleye and bass fishing. Competitors can enter either the bass division or the walleye division or both for cash and prizes. It should be a great event with inspirational guest speaker Jim Kalkofen on Friday July 26th, 2013 at the rules meeting with free dinner included, catered by Buzzy’s on the Bay. You can sign up on the website and send in your entry today (registration link)or show up at the rules meeting at Isle Evangelical Free Church, Isle MN on Friday between 5:15-6:00pm. Make sure you let the Full Throttle staff know you are coming so we can plan the dinner.

Saturday is tournament day and it begins 7am at Mac’s Twin Bay Resort with the weigh in at 3pm. Once the weigh in starts you will see some big walleyes and big bass weighing in on the Full Throttle stage! Grab yourself, family, or friends something to eat or drink at Ernie’s Restaurant and enjoy the show! Just a reminder there will be a NPAA Youth Fishing Clinic after the tourny, free rod @ reel combos and tackle.

How will you see big walleyes with a 2″ slot? Is this tournament catch, photo, release?

There has been quite a few slot fish & pictures of fish over 28″ that would make it exciting from Mille Lacs lately. Hope to see many of you there & as always hit Buzzies for some good food and refreshements.

Fish 28 and over will still be weighed in. The keeper slot at 18 to 20 is producing weights equal to or better than the 0-18 inch slot in the last couple years. Still need to get the right fish.

Full Throttle runs a great tourney and the weigh in’s are done very well. If you are in the area, stop in. I’m more than sure you would be impressed.
