2013 Officer Schneider Scholarship Memorial Tourny

    Save the date everyone! The date is set for July 13, 2013 and will be out of Lake City. Last year we raised $6,300 for scholarships, which we will be giving away to 3 school districts this spring. As most of you aware, Officer Schneider from Lake City MN was killed in the line of duty in 2011. This event is a great avenue for all of us fisherman to remember Officer Schneider as an avid outdoorsman, role model, husband / father & friend. We will again have a banquet after the tournament. Once we have a few minor logistic items closed up, I will post an entry for this tournament. Last year we had 78 boats and I guarentee it will fill up fast this year! Also, if anyone would like to make a donation for the banquet, please send me a PM. The response we got last year was awesome!

    awesome donations coming in again, dont miss out on this tournament guys, its a great cause! There is entrees at River Valley Outfitters in Wabasha also if you are down that way…Thanks Jimmy!

    Entry’s are pouring in – so don’t delay getting your entry’s in. We will allow up to 100 boats and will have a free walleye dinner for the anglers after the tournament, along with raffles. We have a LOT of nice raffle items such as guns, bows, Cabela’s Gift Cards just to name a few. Join us on this great scholarship fundraiser in memory of Officer Schneider, whom was killed in the line of duty. Last year we raised $6,300 for scholarships and we just gave the money raised from last year to 3 High School Students! What a great tournament with a great cause! Entry’s can be printed off from this thread (up on top). Thanks Again All!

    I have sent out all confirmation letters for boats that entered so far. If you are planning on fishing, please try to get entry’s in as soon as possible so I have time to send confirmation letters out. We also will be allowing boats to sign up the morning of the event and will be posting that information next week.

    We are again looking to have a nice turnout for this great cause, so join in on this event!
