GREEN BAY IS NEXT STOP FOR WWA WI/UP TEAM CHALLENGE
FOND DU LAC The big fish waters of Green Bay is the second stop for the
World Walleye Association WI/UP Team Challenge Sunday May 23 2004.
³ We have been getting reports of big fish being caught in the bay the last
couple weeks so the teams should have a great tournament with a lot of big
baskets being brought in.² According to Steve Poll, Executive Director of
the World Walleye Association and Tournament Director for the WI/UP Team
Challenge division.
Registration will be Saturday May 22nd at the Metro Boat Ramp in Green Bay
from 5:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M.
Tournament hours will be from 7:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Boundaries will be
all Wisconsin waters to the upper tip of Door County. In the event of
inclement weather, the boundaries will be the restricted to the river.
This event is limited to the first 100 teams to sign up and all teams must
be members of the World Walleye Association.
The WWA is a friendly, fun, and affordable way to participate in the
competitive world of walleye fishing. Subscriptions to the Badger
Sportsmen are included when anglers become members of the WWA.
The WWA also offers a National Championship at the end of the year for
qualifying teams.
