Not the place you finished, but if you fished last year, there will be two tickets for your team when I begin drawing. If you did not fish last year, you would have one ticket. So, you do have a better chance for higher boat number if you fished last year.

As some may have heard, there was some concerns about a rumor going around that the NWT Tournament changed their flight out time to 6:30 like our tournament, which would have raised some safety concerns running the backchannel, etc. I talked with the NWT Tournament Director this morning and the rumor is just a rumor. Their tournament will leave at 7:00 out of Bay Point. Both of us agree safety is number one concern for both tournaments. We had a great conversation and it sure looks like the NWT has what it takes to be a great major tournament circuit!
Looks like some beautiful weather coming our way for the weekend. Won’t that be a nice change!! Getting a lot of calls also so looking forward to a great tournament.
We have openings available so anyone can register tonight at the orientation meeting. The meeting starts at 6:00 PM at the ELKS CLUB in Red Wing. I should be there by 5:00 – 5:15. Looking forward to the nicest weather the LPO has had in 28 years!!
