MTT pool 4

    According to the mtt site, looks like pool 4 has 50 boat limit. Seems to me the mtt is the only one that can pull in 70-80 boats on the riv. Is this a dnr restriction?

    Yeah they announced this at the Championship. They said it was because of the DNR. Also the Mille Lacs and Winnie 2 day events had to be moved to a Friday/Saturday event.

    I am shocked that the river got dropped to 50 boat limit. The new NWT will be there a week after I think and you know they will have a lot of boats.

    Found out a little more info…they dropped it to 50 cause the event has not been filling up and the permits are different for a 50 vs 100. The 2day events are changed because its illegal in MN to have a 2 day tourny on a Sat/Sun. I guess the DNR hasnt been doing their job for years on that one
