Should be a very nice day to be fishing the river.

    How many teams showed up?

Hope everybody stays safe and has fun.

FOOOOOGGGGYYY! I’m not sure if they started on time with the fog. It’s clearing off pretty good now, but over cast still.

We had roughly 20 leave from Everts this morning.

It’s great to see so many ol’ friends back again!

You down there all day? I might motor down and hand deliver the package to you.

It was a two pot day.

I’ve heard some rumors on the winners and the number of boats, but nothing confirmed.

Thanks BK we had a good day considering our start. The bacon wrap chestnuts were excellent, thanks again we ended up in 8th place.

I have to admit, yours might have been the most screwy start I’ve ever heard of!

Glad it turned out well for you though.

Next time I work, we’ll be featuring bacon wrapped spam with jalapeno or olives. Perfect way to start the morning as long as a person remembers his wallet.

Hope you guys don’t mind me sharing, but that was heck of a morning start!

CP3 and Muskychaser stop into Everts prior to fishing the Saugerama. They picked up some minnows ect when MC said, dang! I forgot my wallet at home.

I reminded him that he would be taking his chances by not having his fishing license with him while fishing the contest.

He decided to take the 20 minute drive home to be on the safe side.

Guess what? He gets stopped by a hometown city officer for going a touch over the speed limit! (without his wallet!)

Good thing they knew each other and MC was sent on his way. The officer and MC are to have a follow up chat later.

Kudo’s to the officer to allow him to “take care of business” later.
