Thanks everyone that came out today for the fishing contest and get together. You guys made this a great event again. We had 19 teams fish this year. Once again just about everyone caught fish. 116″ and some change won the contest by Drew E, Patrick and Denver. Jason P won big fish with a 26″ walleye. KWP and partner won most fish fish 17 caught. The Mikes and Scott won small fish with a 10″ walleye. Heard it was a team effort to wrestle this in.

I get more results up later tonight or tomorrow. Please feel free to add your fish photos from the contest to this post or one of the other going about this event.

Thanks again everyone that came out for this. Looking forward to putting this on again next year.

I also want to give another thanks to our great prize sponsors for this year. Anglers Guide HQ for donating a gift certificate for a new fishing pole. BfishN tackle for providing our control items for this year. Everyone got a package of tackle to put in their fish photos so we knew they where caught today and then got to keep that tackle. BfishN also provided prizes for most fish, cat fish and small fish.

Thanks again for donating these great prizes for the contest.

Really appreciate the contest Mike…thanks a ton.

My win was all luck, it was our only fish for the whole contest. I was too stubborn to change our tactic and we got schooled. I’m always humbled at this get-together…lots of really good sticks out there. Some darn good food too. Here’s a pic of my fish on the board, the “roll-out!” to the channel and the winners photo. The “frame” photo of my fish didn’t turn out too well but I’ll post it here anyway.

    Thanks again,

    Jason

Thanks for all the hard work, and putting this P2 gathering together Mike. I’m sure that it is tough having to watch everyone else go out and fish. It was nice seeing everyone, and putting some names and faces to IDO handles. Hopefully, I’ll run into some of you as we all continue to chase the fall bite.

Thanks for hopping in the boat with me Denver and Patrick. Patrick had the hot stick for the day, and Denver did a great job of netting our fish (and keeping our ears busy during the down times). All I had to do was hit the spot lock button on the Terrova remote, and complain about having only 99 inches after our fist 5 fish. Patrick got tired of the complaining, and started what would become our complete card upgrade. The next 5 fish we got all went down as upgrades.

Here are the pics of the top 5 fish.

Okay. Our winners for this year are.

These are total measurements over 5 fish.

1st place, 116.25″s Drew E, Partick and Denver.

2nd Place, 108.25″s Pete, Kevin Bauer.

    3rd Place, 103″s Kyle S, Tim Hams

Big fish, 26″ Walleye, Jason P.

Most Walleye/sauger caught, 17 by Ken Palmer and Corey Larson. BfishN Tackle prize.

Biggest Catfish, 21″ flathead caught by Dave R and Dean S. BfishN Tackle prize.

And the great category of smallest walleye was won by the team of Mike Yager, Mike Lee and Scott with a 10.25 beast of a little fish. BfishN tackle Prize.

The winner of the drawing for a fishing pole from Anglers Guide HQ and Skeeter Boat Center was Daryl Hamlin. Way to go on a very nice prize.

Thanks again everyone for coming out again this year. Look forward to doing this again fall of 13 about the same time and seeing all of you there again.

If you got more photos from the contest make sure to post them on here. As a CPR contest we dont get to display our fish at a weigh in. Showing them off on line is the nest best thing.

Very well run event Mike. Fun to take part and see some of the great people behind the scenes and posts here on IDO.
Here’s our fish pics. Pretty tough day for us. I was not warm. At least we got some B-Fishn’ tackle out of the deal for the little fella!
