90% sure I’ll be there. Not sure yet who my boat partner will be. Trying to convince Suzuki, but he may be shooting feathered creatures.

It will be great to see you guys there. Received a couple of boxes of fishing tackle from BfishN over the weekend for the contest. Looks like everyone will be going home with something extra in their tackle box this year.

    Thanks BfishN.

Here is a map to Lions Levee landing. The landing along with every thing else in the river is a little shallow right now. Just watch backing those trailers in to far while loading up. You dont have to use lions landing but this is where sign in and weigh in is.

Hey Mike, do you have last years results for the tourney? I can’t get to them for the tourney page on IDO. It won’t let me change the search to include the last year. It only goes back 1 month or so.

Should be in the pool 2 post just a few below this one. 22″ average over 5 fish won it. At first I thought that was a light measurement for pool 2 but a 22″ average is pretty good for a river contest this time of year. Took 20″ average to place in the top three. I would guess to see about the same this year or maybe better. Would be surprised if someone came in with five 24 to 26″ers but it is pool 2 and that could easily happen. If there was some flow on the river it would be easy for that to happen.

Figured I better add the info about this years addition prizes here to.

In addition to paying back three places for the contest again this year we will have some other great prizes to. BfishN tackle has donated prizes for these additional categories.

    Most walleyes/saugers caught.
    Smallest walleye/sauger caught.
    Largest catfish caught.

We will also be having a drawing for a free fishing pole donated by Anglers Guide HQ. Must be signed up in the contest to qualify for this drawing.

Dean has provided a gift certificate for the fishing pole. He wanted to do this so the winner could choose a pole that works for the way they fish. Sounds like a great idea.
