Anybody from IDO fishing the FLW Oahe tournament? I signed up, just dont tell my wife this. I have never fished the system before so this should be interesting to see how things go.

    I am, as a co.
The slot and no culling are what’s going to be interesting.

I am also trying to get a co-worker to fish the National Guard Veterans Tournament. Anyone want to take a guess on the amount of weight it will take to make the cut for the third day?

You actually got in? Usually there is a waiting list.

If your talking about myself, I will be fishing on the pro side, so of course they will take my money to get in and donate. My friend is in contact with the person who handles the Veterans tournament side of things. I have not heard back yet to see if he can fish or not.

I am fishing as a co. This is a fantastic fishery with LOTS of fish. Last year there where a ton of 14.5″ fish so they should be in the 16″ range this year. Overs arent that hard to get but BIG overs are. You can have 2 over 20 in the boat at weigh in.

I am guessing it’s going to take 35 pounds to safely make the cut.

I am thinking around 16-18 lbs to make the cut and around 19 lbs a day to win.

No way 16-18 makes the cut, it’s going to take that per day to stay in the top 10.

Reports are the fish are lighter than last year. We will see, but after watching past tournaments in that area the weights I listed repeat from prior results.
