This year marked the 14th annual walleye fishing tourn in memory of Paul “Pooh Bear” Martin. The PBO was held June 2nd, pool 4, as a joint effort between the Martin/Holst families, and the Red Wing Wildlife League. 69 boats participated, 26 boats weighed in (5 fish limit)..winners had 2 fish, 18 pounds (Tim Zimmerman, Jason Bay-Schmith) and second place was 2 fish just over 17 pounds (hemmingsens)..tournament payout was $2900.00 Many boats had over 2 fisherman, so it was quite a tournament, raffle, banquet, weather etc..fishing could have been much better!!THANK YOU TO ALL!! NEXT YEAR..15TH ANNUAL..EXTRA SPECIAL! as one of Pooh best friends, I cannot thank you all enough for keeping his memory alive, with such a nicely run event, with the money doing so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!See you next year
