    Which one?

The couples tournament was a good time last year.

They are running a bigger tourney this year for the 1st time, are you talking about that one?

The big one is the Extravaganza. Believe it’s a $1000.00 entry and pretty sure it’s taking over the Wave Wacker.
I’m by no way 100% on that though, just basically at the same time as previous wackers.

Yep, the extravaganza was the one I was talking about. This will be the first year for that one?

I have fished many tournaments, both what Hunters puts on, and other that use it as a start finish place.
There have all been ran pretty darn good. I know Jason Boggers (I believe that was his last name) use to run/help all of Hunters and he did a great job. I don’t believe Jason’s on board at hunters anymore but Please don’t let that distract you! Pretty sure I’ll fish the Extravaganza this year.

I have fished a number of MTT tourneys at Hunters and they do a great job in my opinion.

I just wanted to clear up any questions about the Hunters Point Walleye Extravaganza. It is $1,000 a boat. It will be Thursday June 7th & Friday June 8th. We will have a 90%+ payout. . 100% of corporate sponsorship money will be donated to the Susan G Komen foundation for breast cancer, it is a cause very dear to our family. Lastly we will only be accepting 100 boats this year and we already have been getting registration forms in, So if you would like to get in check out our website hunterspointresort.com the registration is under the events page. Thank you and we look forward to a fantastic tournament.

Nice fish! This was my first walleye tourney and thus have nothing to compare it to, but we had a great time. Day one we probably caught 30 fish and had only had one that we could weigh . Hunter’s Point put on a great supper for the participants and had good hospitality throughout the entire event. Day two we caught two 16″ keepers right off the bat and after switching tactics we put a 28.25″ 7 pound fish in the box. I was pretty pumped up and ran it in to get weighed while it was still healthy. We moved up significantly on day two with a 9 pound bag but the hole we were in after day one was two much to overcome to get in the money. All told, great learning experience and really a lot of fun.

Thank you everyone who fished the tourney. We had a lot of fun and raised over $8500 in corporate sponsers for the Susan G Komen Foundation. The winner walked away with 16000 all in all I think the tourney was a success. We have the dates set for 6/6/13 &6/7/13. Hope to see you there. If you liked the walleye extravaganza check out our website for some other fun tournaments this summer.
