I just wanted to pass along a NEW confirmation tournament date to you for this season…
MMWS will be having our Genoa, WI event on June 12th, 2011.
This event will be run out of the Power Plant Ramp fishing Pools 8&9. This a reschedule for the event planned this weekend that I had to understandably cancel due to current river conditions and foremost safety. Permit is secured, so we are set to go- add it to your desktop calendars and one on the wall.
Personally I feel this should be a very strong bite as walleyes should be staged on their summer wingdam and backwater channel patterns. Traditional anchoring with live bait and trolling crankbaits should be very productive at that time. As we all know Pool 8 and Pool 9 are both very hot in that time frame as well.
Flight out will be based upon order of entries received, so don’t delay. Simply write in the June 12th date over the April 17th date on the entry form which can be obtained by e-mailing me at [email protected]
