High water report QC area

I spent the last 2 days on the river pitching flooded timber. The bite over all is pretty slow. Saturday we were able to catch 7 eyes, and Sunday I spent the morning with fellow IDOer Wingdam 1. I had a good time pitching with Bruce this morning , the bite wasn’t real good . We stuck it out and were able to put 6 fish in the boat. Pitching light jigs with ringworms and paddle tails was the best for us. The big girls have been hard to come by the last two trips , but there are a few males still willing to bite. Here is a pic of Bruce with the best fish of the morning.

i’ve been wanting to get out and pitch to the timber around the mouth of sylvan slough but i just haven’t had the time.
