To the best of my knowledge, current ramp conditions. Please feel free to update if & when you are aware of a change.

    Baypoint- frozen

    Coville – closed

Baycity- open, but there is a rope that needs to be lifted to get in. It is securing there dock.

WI backchannel- useable on the old ramp.Bring salt just in case someone didnt drain there trailer. No dock.

Everts- one ramp, current when loading the boat is a factor if you have limited experience.Main dock is available.Limited parking, will shuttle you to the top of the hill as needed, daylight hours.

Remember safety first. Debris is limited as I write this, but it only takes one. Please wear your lifejacket. All boat partners should be on the lookout for the driver.

Water temps have been in the low 30″s,but clarity overall is not to bad,I have seen it much worse.Overall….the bite has been pretty slow for most with the cold falling water temps. The best bite is later in the day when water gets a touch warmer.Warmer water temps will kick the bite in soon…I hope! Good luck to everyone, but be safe!

With all the water heading down, did Pepin ‘heave’ and bust the ice or is all that water just going over the top???

    Dean, great update > thanks….

    Tuesday March 29

Everts…still hanging in there, limited parking, swift current when loading.

WI Back channel…useable with knee boots, old upper landing.Probably unusable tomorrow.

    Bay City… same as above.

Major debris yesterday afternoon from the backwater swamps. Proceed with as much caution as possible.

Should anyone have additional info, please post accordingly.

Took a minute to recognize where that 1st photo was. All that water should make it more convenient for guys that had trouble backing down that long narrow ramps.

I had the same thought Mike!

Use the 5 foot ramp…or right over the rock wall.

Being able to drive the boats right up to the bait shop will be handy to.

A few more feet and I’ll be able to boat right up to the bait shop if I need anything.

back channel landing has road closed signs up and has several inches of water running over the road. my opinion the ramp is unusable. and think it is illegal to go around road closed signs?

    Coville & Baypoint – Closed

    Wi Back Channel- Closed

    Baycity- parking lot under water

Everts- Useable for those who have above average river experience. I would not recommend in-experienced or solo anglers to be on the river.Parking is minimal, but will assist as much as possible.

SAFETY first everyone ! Cold water temps continue to make the bite very tough . Although relatively clear right now of debris, major backwater ice has come through mid-day the past 2 days. I have no way of being able to predict that.

This will be a great year for the fish to have a great spawn and the post spawn bite will be awesome!

Answers all my questions other than water temps but I am guessing they are still 31-32 degrees

    Thanks for the update Dean.

I just heard all City of Red Wing ramps have been officially shut down by the City.

Plan to be there Friday morning – hope we can still put in at Evert’s.

Quick update.not much change today for better or worse. Bite remains tough, but much less debris today. Perhaps a temporary crest ? Rest is up to mother nature.

One ramp still gong, first crest appears to have shown itself yesterday. No change on the other ramp conditions as of yet.
The bite appears to be showing itself a bit better for a few folks.

Water is on the way back up. River Graph is projecting another crest first part of next week. We are still able to get boats out. Everyone has been very patient and working around the limited parking and one ramp.

Still launchable today, and tommorrow hopefully. There are a few boats using the backchannel landing but as I understand, hip boots are required.
