For those that might have missed this… Here’s my latest report for Pool 4… from yesterday during the snow storm.

Pool 4 Report – James Holst

Most are finding the fishing absolutely dead right now. We toughed it out and found enough fish to say we had a good day….. and fishing will only get better the further we get into March!

For those of you that don’t regularly stop and check out things on the home page, I’d suggest you start. We’ve added some new feautres like Product Reviews and a new fishing report system that should really get your attention if you haven’t checked out that part of the site yet.

We can always “make em good”……….but you still want some truth to em don’t ya!! LOL. James had the good day yesterday and two boats today had some nice fish from right at the dam with jig n minnow. Only 4 boats out today.

    Spinner Dave,

The reports given here are the best you can find anywhere… on any body of water. If James says they’re not biting, they’re not biting and no report can change that.

Plus, not only do they give the best tips on where to fish, but what the best tactics are – in detail. Sometimes I wish they’d be a little less open about it all ;-)

Thanks to the FTR guys for allowing to track the river from 100 miles away.

I’m running late, so i’m gonna make this short and sweet! Fishing has picked up quite a bit the last couple of days. Is everybody getting them?……..no. But heard of “25 keeper” fish in one boat today……saw 7 nice 16-18 inchers in another…..”10″ keepers…………..4 keepers…………..5 keepers……………..and some of the “we didn’t get a keeper fish all day” line too. So you have to still work for em, but they are starting to open up their mouths a little now!

It is still not the “spring bite” yet, but things are looking better! Main presentation seemed to be 30 ft of water with jig n minnow. Anywhere from right at the dam to the vermillion mouth. Get out and enjoy the 50+ degree weather tomorrow. Sounds like it’s gonna change in a hurry Sunday.
