I have been trying to use the search feature to narrow down specific articles and posts from the site and haven’t had any luck really. Is it meant to be just a very general tool or can you get specific? For example I was trying to search (current seams) to get specific articles or posts about how and when to fish them. Any Ideas?? thank you

There’s plans to revamp the current search function in the works…no little task.

The problem with your search is your looking for “current seams” in the subject line and it would seldom if ever appear there. Then when selecting “in subject line or post”, the return will be HUGE! Most reports have the word “seam” in it.

To help narrow the results down, select the body of water that fits what you are looking up..say “Mississippi River Walleye” forum.

You know, sometimes I just use Google to find what I’m looking for. Add Quotes “current seam” IDO

    This will return What’s a current seam<<<

Hey thanks BK, that is a great idea to use google like that. I was at Deans seminar at the boat show, where he gave great info on fishing current seams and wanted to do a little more research before I come down and see if my boat will run for another year tomorrow. With my old boat all i can really do is anchor and fish. Anyways thanks again.
