Today me and my dad took the boat down to everts for a little boat action. 1st spot we headed to was up by the damn, plastics, minnows nothing could get an eye boated. So we decided to travel down near “Hay creek”, didnt do anything good their so headed back up to the damn for 1 last try before heading in. All of a sudden they turned on a little bit and we caught 10 total. Not any big ones, but still fun getting a line wet. The ticket for us was 3/8 oz. green and chartruse jigs with meat, staying vertical might have helped, Also missed quite a few fish towards the end.

Even if you didn’t catch anything, at least you were with your Dad. That alone is worth any trip.
