Got the boat in the water on pool 6 for a few hours today. The bite was not fast or furious but manged to put a few fish in the boat and kept enough for a meal. One nice 17″ walleye and 3 saugers to round out the fry pan.
Caught more walleye than saugers in 25 – 35′ on Trigger-x plastics. Lots of ice chucks around but nothing too large.
sounds like a good day too me! with some good eats to go with it! by the way im feeling better so hope to be out on the water myself soon!
Tough to see you headed for the water on my way to work this morning.
