Hey dudes I’m back from the wilds of Wisc………What a trip!!! We mostly fish the lakes in the region for the first 2 days but move over to the Minong Flowage for the last 2..Quite the adventure! after 2 days of just nailing the snot on pike , I convince the group to check out the Minong Flowage for Walleyes. We tried above the dam in any where from 5 to 19 feet of water…got a few but no real size!…Tip ups only though I did try some swedish pimples. We moved down below the dam…and thats when the story gets good!!!…I like RINGERS…Dustin and I did very well on pool 4 this year with them…So thats what I put on first thing…my buddys…Live bait rigs Give me a minnow and let it soak..500 yards down from the dam I found and old bride crossing with deep holes above and below…After about 7 pike and my third 18inch walleye.I had 3 other ( friends) begging me for ringers…how cool!!!! I see one has just joined the board today. Anyway we spent the last 2 days catching pike and walleyes…never using live bait again…James thankyou ..it did not take me one whole year to figure that OUT!!!!
